ABOUT INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SPACE 2025

The Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) this year, is organising the Two- day International Conference on Space from 8th – 9th September 2025, with support of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre (IN-SPACe) and NewSpace India Ltd (NSIL), Bengaluru, India.

The two-day conference will highlight the pivotal roles of ISRO, INSPACe and NSIL in advancing India’s space capabilities, with a focus on satellite manufacturing, space missions execution, space exploration, and industry participation, thereby strengthening the Indian space sector.

The conference will engage in deliberations on the key focus areas outlined by IN-SPACe under the Decadal Vision for the Indian Space Economy. It will serve as a platform to deliberate on Indian industry participation in the space sector, with an emphasis on strengthening indigenous capabilities, fostering innovation, and developing a highly skilled workforce. Additionally, the conference will address the expanding demand for space-based technologies across various sectors, support the growth of the startup ecosystem, and encourage international collaborations.

Emphasis will be placed on driving demand for upstream and downstream space applications in the defence sector, aligning with global trends that link defence investment to commercial space growth.

This year, Denmark is the Guest Country for this conference.
